Pricing

Our pricing model is based on the amount of time it takes to achieve your stated specification, so complex projects are naturally more expensive than simple ones.

For example, a small app with a standard layout using your logo and color scheme with standard pages such as 'home / about', and without deployment can typically be knocked out in about 5 hours.

If you want to add blogging functionality, contact forms, support for multiple users to sign up, email verification, payment processing, appointment scheduling, or whatever specific functionality you need, then more time will be required and the amounts can vary widely depending on your exact needs.

For example, if you are comfortable deploying your own site without our assistance, we just hand you the keys to the private Github code repository and let you take it from there, saving you money. If you prefer to have us handle your deployment for you, we offer AWS (Amazon Web Services) deployments which, again, vary in time requirements according to deployment complexity. Just need a static site running behind Nginx on an EC2 instance? That won't take very much time. Need email functionality with SES? That will take slightly longer. Need auto-scaling group running behind a load balancer, ECS cluster, or other complex deployment options? These types of things will significantly increase the time it takes, and hence the cost to you.

Ultimately, there is no one-size-fits-all price sheet, because everyone's unique requirements differ tremendously. We typically suggest sitting down and thinking about the specific functionality you require, making a list of things your website needs to be able to do, and taking stock of your budget. For a typical small-business website, we suggest starting with 10 consulting hours. This will be enough to at the very least get you online with a simple site. As your business grows and you identify different needs and requirements, you can purchase more development hours to help you achieve your goals.
